Pacific Northwest NWTA, June 17-19, application deadline: April 3

Apply Now to Staff the June 2011 New Warrior Training Adventure in  the Pacific Northwest
MKP-NW is now accepting Staff Applications for its June  2011 NWTA (please apply on-line). We will be holding our NWTA weekend at beautiful Camp Wa-Ri-Ki, Washougal, Washington, June 17-19, 2011.  This NWTA will be lead by James McLeary; Northfield, Ill - Robert Crowell; Gresham -  Darel Grothaus; Manzanita, OR and another one or two Co-Leaders, to be named.
Camp Wa-Ri-Ki is located in the beautiful Cascade Mountains of Southern Washington State about a 1-hour drive from the Portland, OR Airport (PDX).  We expect to continue our tradition of having a full weekend of 32, or more initiates. Because enrollments in the Northwest Center have often exceeded 32 men, we are prepared to expand this training to 40 initiates and if so we will be selecting additional staff. We’re looking for authentic, accountable, and energetic men of integrity to form our Container. The Northwest Center welcomes diversity. Initiated men with all levels of staff experience are encouraged to apply. Applications for Men of Service (MOS) are also being accepted.
The deadline for submitting an application is Sunday April 3 rd, 2011 @ 10:00 PM (PST).  Please submit your on-line application on our web site at: http://www.mkpnw.org/caa.  (Log in using your username and password. In the New Warrior Area you will see “NW Staff Application”). Staff Selection will take place on April 5th. The Staffing Fee is $140 for those selected to staff; and $ 90 for MOS --- any donations above those amounts are appreciated.
Note:  it is each applicant’s responsibility to read this document before applying to staff so that they are aware of the staffing agreements they are making and will be accountable. IMPORTANT: If you are not able to apply on-line, or the Staff or MOS fee is a financial hardship, please contact Gregory Kelley, NWTA Training Coordinator at  storm.petrel@yahoo.com; tel 425-503-5777.

Join Us! It Will Be Worth It! All Experience Levels Welcome!
The weekend is a wonderful time to connect with Warrior Brothers, and Staffing the NWTA at Camp Wa-Ri-Ki  is a wonderful way to continue working on your own journey; while helping new men begin theirs. Men, we can’t hold our NWTA without sufficient staff, so visit our web site and submit your application today! We do ask that you that you think about the roles you want on the weekend and check them off as you fill out the online staff application.  If this is going to be your first time applying to staff, there’s no need to worry. We have experienced leaders/men who know the NWTA outline well, and they’ll make suitable assignments for your participation on the weekend.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
