NY Metro May 20-22 NWTA

Men -

Your time is NOW to apply to be a part of the staff for the New York Metro NWTA - May 20 -22, 2011.

Staff and MOS applications are now being accepted for the New York Metro NWTA occurring at Camp Sunrise May 20 - 22, 2010.  Together we will create a container for more beautiful men to be initiated into their mature masculinity.

This is your chance to experience the diversity of the New York City area and share your gold in service to the initiates.  We are blessed to have James McCleary return as a Full-Leader.  Jon Wilson and Robert Crowell will serve as Co-Leaders.

Application deadline is Sunday March 6, 2011 at 10:45 p.m.  The Staff Selection committee will meet Tuesday March 8, and men accepted to staff will be notified soon thereafter. Apply online at http://newyork.mkp.org/.  Login to the CAA System and click "NYC Staff Application" on the left-hand margin.  Fill in all four pages and be sure to choose "20 - 22 May 2011 - Tuxedo, NY" on step three. You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been received.

In order to apply as a staff member and/or man of service:

1. You must be in good standing with the NY Metro community.  This means that you have paid your ally fee before the first staff meeting.
2. You must be active in an I-group or a reasonable substitute "doing your work".
3. You must agree to attend both staff meetings (probably at the Dojo in Manhattan (1950 3rd Ave)).  Out of area men (living greater than 75 miles from the Dojo) must participate in both conference calls.  This does not apply to MOS.
   - Staff Meeting dates:  Tues. Mar 29, 2011 & Tues. Apr 26, 2011 - both from 7:00pm - 9:45pm
   - Conference calls for out of area men:  Wed. Mar 30 and Wed. Apr 27 - both from 8:30pm to 9:30pm
4. You are expected to attend the Homecoming Celebration (date and location TBA).
5. You agree to be on site at a specified time on May 19, 2011 (usually 1:00 or 2:00 for rookies, 4:00 for non-rookie staff and varied times for MOS).
6. You agree to pay the staff fee of $125.00 or the MOS fee of $50 (or make suitable alternate arrangements in the event of financial hardship).
7. You agree to complete all required paperwork (Medical Form, Participant Release, Ethics Agreement), and submit the same to the Data Coordinator before the start of the first staff meeting.
8. You agree to be responsible for knowing about all announcements, logistics, and information distributed via the staff or MOS e-mail lists. This means that you agree to read all of the staff/MOS e-mail messages or stay closely connected to a staff/MOS man who does.
9. You agree to arrive on time and remain fully present throughout the weekend until the staff and MOS are released on Sunday.  This includes out of area men.  (Do not schedule flights out of the area earlier than 8:00 p.m.)
10. You agree to mentor and stay connected with at least one New Brother before, during and following the weekend, if assigned.
11. You agree to learn and know your responsibilities well in advance of the NWTA.

If you can commit to the above, we welcome and encourage your application. If you have questions or issues with the application, contact the Weekend Coordinator, Eric Posmantier, at:NYMankind@Yahoo.com and 203-241-7281.

Together, we can change the world -- one man at a time.
