MKPNE June NWTA Staff Invite

You are invited to staff the June, 2011  NWTA

This NWTA will start on Friday, 6/4/11 and finish Sunday, 6/6/11.
The training is located at the Clara Barton Center in North Oxford,
Massachusetts.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Staff application deadline: Sunday 4/3 at 10:30 pm
Staff Selection: Sunday 4/10
Staff Meeting: Sunday 5/1 at 1 pm
Bridge call: Tuesday 5/3 from 8pm to 9:30 pm EST
Rookie Calls will be scheduled later.

HOW TO APPLY TO STAFF OR BE A MAN OF SERVICE (MOS):
1. First, go to the MKPNE public home page: www.mkpne.org

2. Scroll down to the lower right corner of the page and click on "New
England CAA System" under "WARRIOR LOGINS".

3. Log in to the CAA system with your user name and password. This will
take you to the MKPNE Warrior's home page. If you don't have a user
name/password, click the "Trouble logging in?" link for assistance.

4. Finally, click on "NE Staff Application" in the upper left hand side of
the page in the "NEW WARRIOR AREA". Begin the four step application
process. The first two steps ask you to update your profile information
and trainings; the remaining steps complete the staff application.

Once the application is complete you will receive a confirmation email. If
you do not receive an automatic confirmation email, return to the
application and tab though to the final page, then click "Complete
Application" again.



AGREEMENTS: 
1. Attend the pre-weekend staff meeting on Sunday, May 1st from 1 – 5
pm at Clark University, Worchester, MA.  Men living over 2 hours away who do not attend this meeting are required to take part in the conference call on the following day, Tuesday, May 3rd.

2. Complete all required paperwork (medical form, participant release, staffing/MOS agreement, and staffing fee of $ 50 dollars) and sent to the
Staff Data Coordinator by April 30, 2011. Staff fee 'ask' is $150 and is
done via C.C.P (co-contribution process). More info about CCP can be
found on the MKPNE website.

3. All staff is expected to arrive Friday, June 4th by 8am (and no earlier than 7:30 am for cabin assignments).   All staff will remain until the end of the training Sunday (usually around 5 pm).

4. Read all emails on the staff list serve; download and read all protocols
as appropriate to your assignments.

5. Attend the Homecoming Ceremony on Sunday, June 12th from 1 to 4 pm at Clark University. If you live more than 2 hours from Clark University you
are not required to attend the Homecoming, although your presence is
encouraged and appreciated.

Apply to staff if you agree to and will comply with the aforementioned items. The MKP Training Coordinator (Nick Hanna) is empowered to grant exceptions based on the needs of the weekend, individual men, and the community.

STAFF SELECTION CRITERIA: 
Priority consideration is given to those men who are sponsoring an
initiate to the weekend. This means the initiate deposit has been
received by the financial officer of MKPNE. If this is your 4th or more
staffing, you MUST complete BSDT (Basic Staff Development Training) prior
to the NWTA. The staff selection committee will use its best judgment to
select a well-balanced staff to ensure the emotional, physical, spiritual
and mental safety of all men on the November NWTA.
