My name is Jeff Leyser, Chimpanzee, and I'm a geek, a nerd, a hacker, a propeller head -- whatever you want to call me, I'm an enthusiastic computer user, programmer and professional System Administrator.
I am also the chair for the MKPUSA IT Director Search Committee, and if you too are a Initiated Geek -- we need you!
Today, a dedicated, talented group of volunteer geeks creates and maintains the various systems MKPUSA uses to manage it's business. A key part of the ongoing professionalization of MKPUSA is the creation of a new paid position, the IT Director. As that man, you would be responsible for:
- Working with the Business Users to implement key procedures and processes into web-based systems
- Overseeing all aspects of MKPUSA's IT day-to-day operations
- Providing hands-on management and troubleshooting of key systems, databases, and web servers
- Leading and recruiting the other talented volunteer Geeks to execute various IT projects
This is a full-time, paid position. MKPUSA is a virtual company, so you may be located anywhere.
